What?!

Okay. So the dress was paid off in July. Woo-hoo! My beautiful dress is now stored at the Here Comes the Bride boutique. Anyhow I was told I could call in August to begin making my alteration appointments. I knew I would have to go in at least twice, but when she told me I had four appointments to make. I responded with a "What?!" Why would it take so many appointments. Apparently the different parts of the dress are altered at each appointment. I'm definitely not a seamstress, how was I to know? I told the sales rep that she would have to explain this to me because...um call me naive, but I've never gone through this before. Hello?!

Appt. #1: The top of the dress is fitted.
Appt#2: The bottom of the dress is fitted.
Appt#3: The whole entire dress is checked to see if the top and bottom alterations are correct.
Appt#4: I am fitted for any last minute alterations like if I drop 10 lbs. Yeah right ;-)

The sales rep. was such a good sport, and laughed with me as I tried to wrap my head around my schedule as my October and November were filling up. One thing for sure is that I can't wait to get married!
